Not the result the boys wanted coming into a very tough month of games. Ynysowen had a depleted squad with players injured and a few on holiday. There wasnt much to seperate both teams apart from a 10 minute spell before the ending of the first half when Tonyrefail scored 3 quick tries. Both teams tried to play expansive rugby but on many occassions the last pass was just not precise enough. Tonyrefail though in all fairness were more clinical and took their chances when they got them.
