Ynysowen arrived in Wattstown with again another depleted squad knowing if they didnt turn up then the home team could potentially win comfortably. Unfortunately the team didnt turn up and Wattstown ran away with the result in the end. They were by far the much better team in all areas apart from the set piece. But even with the set piece being strong Wattstown still had more than enough around the park to win easily.

The half time score was 17-10 to Wattstown and Ynysowen was definately in the game up until then. After half time Wattstown went up a few gears and scored the rest of their points between the 40-70 minute.

The result in the end was very disappointing but a loss like that had been coming and had been on the cards for a while. Numbers in training have not been great since November and with different players coming in and  out isnt helping the team at the moment. The energy and committment is not therecurrently for whatever reason. But what this club is good at is bouncing back and you can be sure this is now the aim.

Next game is against Careau Ely AWAY on the 18th Feb.
